MacKenzie Hall, Marketing and Recruitment Specialist, is the inaugural recipient of the Baptist Health College Little Rock (BHCLR) Bo-Tastic Award!

Named in honor of our mascot, Boaz the Lion, the Bo-Tastic Award recognizes a BHCLR employee who leads with heart, serves with purpose, and stands tall in the face of challenge. This quarterly award celebrates those who embody Bo’s leadership values: courage, compassion, confidence, and strength.

BHCLR employees nominate their coworkers for this honor, and MacKenzie’s nomination said it best:

“BHCLR is brighter, happier, and more team-driven with MacKenzie — and that’s what makes her completely ‘Bo’Tastic.’”

Congratulations, MacKenzie — and way to Bo! 🦁

When the winter weather hit Arkansas, BHCLR alumna Asha Taylor didn’t just stay home—she jumped into action. As the founder of The Nurses Lounge Central Arkansas, Asha helped organize a team of volunteers to transport over 250 healthcare workers to and from their shifts when the roads were impassable. ❄️🚗

From nurses and CNAs, to doctors and respiratory therapists, Asha’s leadership ensured our local hospitals stayed staffed and patients received the care they needed. We are proud to call her a BHCLR graduate!

When a winter storm hit Arkansas, nurses organized volunteer drivers to help 250+ healthcare workers get to hospitals despite the dangerous road conditions.

01/29/2026

Due to continued conditions, BHCLR will remain closed on 1/30/2026. Students should check their portal for instruction information. We are hoping to see each other next week! Stay safe and warm!
