I know the fear is palpable right now, wholly difficult to comprehend and each day just gets harder. And we know it doesn’t end with one man, but with the holistic rebuilding of our world. 🌍
Sadly, we have too many Dems who would rather “trust the system” that got us here instead of breaking the systems that keep us here. The tension is noticeable, especially here in Colorado. We are reevaluating leadership at every level…we don’t trust state government or the leaders in charge.
It will come down to local & regional governments to put up a meaningful defense & create networks of care
I even found myself reviving the idea of running for office, if only so that we have a new voice of compassionate snark in the mix. 🙃🥴
But since I am more effective in the background than at a podium, that’s where I’ll be - in the undercurrent building up the networks of collective care we need.
But to do that we need to know each other and share what we need. Drop the name of an organization doing good work in your community ⬇️ and I will highlight them in the next week so others get to know them too.
