Along side being a busy mom to 3 kiddos,, I am a wife to a firefighter husband and I have been a certified personal trainer for 16 years now. The vast majority of my knowledge comes from the lifetime I have spent dedicated to the wonderful sports of gymnastics and pole vaulting. I starting working out at the age of six learning how to perfect the art of moving my body in crazy ways. Gymnastics and pole vaulting helped me all the way through college with scholarships, so that I could earn my Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and Health. I then went on to get my teaching licensure so that I could start implementing health and fitness into our school system, but decided that I like teaching on a more individualized basis. I absolutely have a passion for helping others obtain their lifelong goals and helping people change their lifestyles so they are healthier. I love to MIX things up in order to keep the results coming fast. I also have my Certification in Water Safety, so that I am able to teach cardio workouts in the pool, which can burn up to 1000 calories in one hour and helps provide options for those clients with injuries and are rehabbing. Being able to partner with the Shred10 nutrition program it allows for my clients to see results in as little as 10 days, while adhering to the program and workouts. However seeing results in such a short amount of time usually is inspiring and motivating to my clientele. The use of nutrition is one of the most powerful tools I have up my sleeve because alongside exercise it can help the body heal itself in ways that exercise alone never could. Using my expertise in this department has helped my work with clients all over the world with specific needs.
