Daylight Saving Time means losing an hour of sleep, and many people notice feeling a little more tired, foggy, or off routine for a few days. Our bodies rely on consistent sleep schedules, so even a one-hour shift can take some time to adjust to. Getting sunlight during the day, sticking to a regular bedtime, and limiting screens before sleep can help your internal clock reset.

Teens Using AI for Mental Health Support
https://buff.ly/SVPn6tG

More teens and young adults are turning to AI for mental health advice than ever before. Recent research shows that about 1 in 8 youth have used AI tools to talk about their feelings or get support. While AI can be a helpful starting point, it can’t truly understand emotions, recognize serious concerns, or provide personalized care the way a trained professional can. Real support offers human connection, guidance, and a safe space to work through challenges. If you or your child are struggling, support is available — you don’t have to navigate it alone.

It’s Brain Health Week (Feb 23–28) This week, organizations like the Center for BrainHealth are bringing together scientists, experts, and communities to share ways we can strengthen our brains and improve everyday wellbeing. The goal is to help people turn brain science into practical habits that support resilience, focus, and mental health.

Brain health isn’t just about treating problems — it’s also about building skills that help you adapt, cope with stress, and function at your best.

Small habits that support brain health and make a big difference:
• Getting enough sleep
• Managing stress
• Staying connected with others
• Moving your body
• Talking to someone when things feel overwhelming

Taking care of your mental health is one of the best ways to care for your brain. Therapy and real support can help build resilience and give you tools that last far beyond quick tips or temporary fixes.

We’re proud to recognize Princika as our Provider of the Month!

Princika provides compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals aged 10 and up via Telehealth, helping patients throughout Colorado and Wyoming. With a holistic approach that combines traditional and alternative methods, Princika specializes in ADHD, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, bipolar disorder, and insomnia, supporting the mind, body, and spirit on every patient’s healing journey.

"Treating mental health affects relationships, careers, families, and self worth. Helping people stabilize their mood, manage anxiety, or gain focus can ripple outward into various aspects of their life, and very few fields allow that!" - Princika KC

Same situation, different day?

Groundhog Day reminds us how easy it is to feel stuck in the same patterns. If life feels like it's on repeat, now might be the time to try something new.

Whether it's 6 more weeks of winter or 6 weeks closer to spring, support is available year-round. You don't have to face it alone.

Because apparently it needed to be written into law that your brain is, in fact, part of your body.

A new Colorado law now requires insurance companies to cover mental health services with the same level of care as physical health — no more treating mental health as secondary to physical health.

This change aims to reduce barriers to treatment and make support more accessible for those who need it.
