🎓 Another rehab graduate! 🎓

Congratulations to Lois, who recently completed her physical and occupational therapies with us and regained her independence in balance, getting in and out of bed, and managing her hygiene tasks. 💪 She is also walking better and able to dress herself with setup assistance.

But therapy wasn't the only thing Lois enjoyed about her stay with us. She shared, "One of my first impressions at Life Care was the smiles I got from the other residents, as well as the therapists, nurses, aides, and kitchen staff delivering food." 🙂

Eleanor Noz is heading home! 🙌

She shared with us: "For someone needing rehab, Nashoba Valley is an excellent choice. It's a very pleasant, cheerful, and friendly place. 💗 The nurses, therapists, and aides do an amazing job providing patients with care. I also appreciate the workers in the kitchen, laundry, and housekeeping. They should be thanked for keeping everything running smoothly. This facility provides a very homey environment, especially with all of the animals."

Look at this excited face as Susan recently celebrated graduating from our rehabilitation program! 😀

And no wonder she's so happy! Susan came to us to regain her independence after a hospital stay for COPD, needing help with walking, getting in and out of bed, balance, hygiene tasks, and getting dressed. Now, she can do all of those things on her own! 👍

When we asked Susan about her experience with us, she said, "Kindness, care, compassion, and a kick in the rear when you need it. Friendships that will last a lifetime. People helping people to be their best. I can't say enough about how they took me broken and got me back on my feet. Thank you!" 🩷

📝 Hearing how thankful our residents are is a wonderful reward for the passion we put into our jobs here at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley! 🫶

Marvin recently shared with us, "I am very grateful to the team of folks — nurses, CNAs, etc., who cared so thoughtfully and cheerfully for me. All the animals were an added blessing. Every day I grew stronger and more flexible, and more able to go home because of them. The whole atmosphere of Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley is one of grace and life. I appreciate that. The therapists, PT and OT, were great, and it was good working with them. I learned a lot and will keep going and learning. I am thankful for my time there."

🧠 This progressive brain disorder is perhaps most well known for causing tremors, but other symptoms include loss of vocal volume, sleep disruptions, stiffness, and balance issues, among others.
