Body + Brain® is a unique type of yoga that features simple exercises for the conditioning of the body and mind, starting with the core, that is suitable for people of all body types and ages. With over 30 years experience serving the public, Body + Brain® is taught nearly 1,000 locations worldwide and has more than 2,000 instructors. Over the past 30 years, Body + Brain® has positively impacted the lives of millions of people in schools, community centers, camps, parks, businesses and governments worldwide Do you know the secret to health, happiness and peace? The secret lies in your brain. The Body + Brain Center offers a variety of programs to empower individuals by promoting health, happiness and peace through unleashing the potential of your brain. Originally created by Ilchi Lee in 1980, the current practice of Body + Brain Holistic Yoga has something for everyone. The various exercises and workshops offered fit into a comprehensive program called Brain Education System Training. The purpose of the practice is to develop the human body and brain to realize their ultimate potential. It is based on a universal philosophy and affirms any religious path or object of worship. It is an experiential system of attaining truth through body and mind awareness. Through diligent practice, practitioners can create a healthy body, clear mind, dignified character, and bright spiritual nature that is not learned but realized. Most importantly, we teach with the belief that peace can be found internally through the body and brain, and that it will then will be naturally expressed externally for the benefit of all. A Body + Brain Holistic Yoga class is invigorating, fun, and accessible, but most of all, effective. Classes can help you feel energy, improve a great variety of health conditions, and create an enhanced sense of well-being and satisfaction with life.
