We were thrilled to welcome Jefferson County Police Officer Bybee to our community as he spent time with two of our residents who proudly served as police officers themselves. The stories, the smiles, and the shared respect across generations were truly heartwarming.

Officer Bybee went above and beyond by bringing police patches and challenge coins to commemorate our residents’ years of service—small tokens with big meaning.

Thank you, Officer Bybee, and thank you to all who serve and have served. 💙🇺🇸

Our community had the joy of delivering hand-tied fleece blankets to Children’s Hospital yesterday, each one made with love, care, and a whole lot of heart.

Creating these blankets gave our residents a meaningful way to give back, and knowing they’ll bring warmth and comfort to children and families during tough moments made it even more special.

One of the biggest fears for families caring for someone with dementia is wandering, when a loved one impulsively leaves home by themselves and becomes lost. It is an issue many of us recognize from missing-person alerts and news reports.

While wandering is a concern year-round, it becomes especially dangerous in winter, when cold temperatures add serious health and safety risks. Here are some of those risks along with tips to help safeguard a loved one from wandering:
