Exciting news!

I have left my other job! I am working exclusively at *MY* massage studio. 😎

This means more hours have been added. By appointment only, I am available Monday thru Friday 10am to 8pm.

To celebrate, for the month of June, I am doubling the New Client Discount to $20 off your first massage and doubling the referral bonus to $20.

Hi All!

As usual, it’s been a while since I’ve written anything, I’m still figuring out this whole social media marketing thing. 😜

I am open and accepting new clients. Hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 10a -8pm.

Masks are not required at this time and I am still using the air purifier. Which has been wonderful with the extreme pollen season we seem to be having!

Text is the best way to reach me or the Book Now button at the top of the page will take you to online booking.

Enjoy the holiday weekend!

Hi All!
It has been a while since I’ve posted anything. What a year it has been! I hope this finds you all safe and well.

With more than 6 months of massage being allowed in CO we have the data to say that when all precautions are followed, receiving massage is a reasonably safe activity. It can also help relieve some of the stress we ALL are feeling.

I am open. We are following all the precautions mandated as well as using our air filter. Schedule some you time on the massage table! 😃

I hope this finds all of you healthy and safe!

I have happy news! I wanted to reopen slowly, to make sure the precautions mandated by the state, the precautions my office mate and I are taking, and what my other job is requiring, all were working. In addition, starting slowly gave more time for scientists to get a better idea of how this virus spreads.

I am happy to say the science seems to be masks work to diminish the spread of COVID. In addition to what is required by the state, my office mate and I decided on the added protection of a portable HEPA air filter, which according to this (https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2020/07/why-arent-we-talking-more-about-airborne-transmission/614737/), seems to be the very thing we needed since we can’t control the air flow into the office.

I am confident saying I am doing everything I can to keep the virus from spreading between clients, myself, and each other. With that in mind, I am now opening up to new (and of course returning 😜) clients!

Masks, for both the client and me, are required by the State to be worn for the entire massage. A temperature check before the massage is also required. I am following both regulations. In addition to this, I am asking everyone who has traveled out of the state to wait 10 days after your return to have a massage.

As always, you need to assess the risks you are willing to take in light of your own circumstances.

Face down can make breathing in a mask a little more challenging than it is upright. I have paper masks available as many people find them easier than cloth masks.

I hope to see you soon! 😃

How is it that six months into a respiratory pandemic, we are still doing so little to mitigate airborne transmission?

Starting tomorrow , Jefferson county will be moving to the Safer at Home phase allowing personal service businesses to reopen following strict guidelines. Massage professionals have been debating on social media platforms if massage can be done safely in a COVID-19 world as we know our profession better than any governor, who also has to balance a huge amount of things, can. My office mate and I are discussing when to reopen our businesses and gathering the supplies necessary to comply with the new regulations. Many factors are going to influence the decision to reopen.

My two biggest concerns are keeping all of us as safe as possible and keeping our healthcare services from being overwhelmed. I will be watching the hospital admissions for COVID to help determine when to open. Looking at this data we have seen our efforts at flattening the curve be effective. By watching this in the future we can see if Safer at Home is being similarly effective.

Best case scenario, I’m hoping to reopen in late May. I will let all of you know a date for sure when I’ve decided on one. At that time I will let you know what the new rules are and the things my office mate and I are doing to try and prevent client to client spread. Stay safe!

I’m late in posting this publicly, I am closed until at least April 30 following the orders from the governor. I expect that this order will be extended and that massage therapists will stay closed longer than many other types of businesses as massage requires close contact. I will update as more info is available. Stay safe, stay well, I will see you on the other side of this crisis. 🙂
