Meet James!

If 3CPR had a frequent flyer program for life experience… James would already have lifetime platinum status.

Here’s why:

🏍️ In 2008–2009, James rode his motorcycle — solo and unsupported — from Nederland, Colorado to Prudhoe Bay, Arctic Alaska… and then kept going all the way to Tierra del Fuego, Argentina.
That’s 14 countries. 14,000 miles. 14 months.
From the northernmost drivable point in the Western Hemisphere to the southernmost point possible on two wheels.🤯

🌎 He’s traveled to 50 countries on 6 continents. Basically, if there’s a stamp for it, he probably has it.

🌊⛰️ SCUBA to 207 feet on the Columbia Wall off the Yucatán and Climbed to 20,548 feet on the summit of Chimborazo in Ecuador.
He’s literally been to extremes most of us only see on documentaries.

🪨 And did we mention he’s super smart too? James holds a Master’s in Earth Sciences and spent 15 years as a consulting geologist in the oil & gas industry.
So yes — he can read the room… and the rock layers beneath it.

✈️🚁 Today, James serves as a critical care flight paramedic and Field Training Officer for an international fixed-wing air ambulance based in Lawrenceville, Georgia — and returns to Colorado whenever he can to teach with Colorado Cardiac CPR.

Yikes! According by to the American Heart Association, only about 1 in 10, or roughly 10-12%, of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest victims have an AED applied by a bystander before EMS arrives, roughly 40% receive bystander CPR. Immediate CPR can double or triple a person’s chance of survival, yet survival rates for these events remain low.
