On September 18th, 1895 when Dr D.D. Palmer delivered the first adjustment to janitor Harvey Lillard which restored his hearing.
The story has been best told numerous by my dear mentor and friend Dr. Charles Gibson.
After receiving the adjustment, Harvey Lillard got off the table and said, “ I can hear the wagons in the street, I can hear the wagons in the street, I can hear the wagons in the street”. And on that day Chiropractic started !
