Suwannee Community Emergency Response Team - SCERT Suwannee Community Emergency Response Team is a VOLUNTEER organization that assists during times of emergency and/or disasters in our community.

The Suwannee Community Emergency Response Team (SCERT) is sponsored by the Suwannee County Sheriff's Office, Division of Emergency Management. SCERT offers a basic CERT Academy at no cost to participants. We augment and support emergency responders during times of emergencies and disasters. All members receive a minimum of basic training in:
-Emergency Preparedness
-Search and Rescue
-First Aid/Disaster Medical Operations
-Incident Command Structure
-Emergency Communications
-Disaster Psycology
