CIL Creations Knit & Crocheted Handmade Creations. I create items with yarn products for sale. Many of the items are one of a kind and a few are made to order.

I started crocheting in 2010 after I was unable to work any longer. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and back issues. I was going crazy at home and needed a hobby. I decided to try crochet so I bought some hooks and yarn to get started and went to YouTube to learn! Today I also have learned to knit and love both equally! I have found knitting and crochet are very relaxing (until I find a mistake!) and good therapy to keep my hands moving so the RA doesn't get too bad.

Our Story

I started crocheting in 2010 after I was unable to work any longer. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and back issues. I was going crazy at home and needed a hobby. I decided to try crochet so I bought some hooks and yarn to get started and went to YouTube to learn! Today I also have learned to knit and love both equally! I have found knitting and crochet are very relaxing (until I find a mistake!) and good therapy to keep my hands moving so the RA doesn't get too bad.

I have always been drawn to computer programing since I was a kid, long before the internet was born! Since then I have learned to program in C#, Visual Basic, PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript & a couple languages that are now “dead” or have merged into a current language of today. I have had a number of websites since the internet began, (I’m really not that old!) and today I have one, cilcreations.com which is my craft shop and cilcreations.com/apwp which is my WordPress plugin page. Check them out!
