These are some of the coolest teens I know…

It’s Teen Lift Off day at RTC and this crew is about to show off all their hard training work…

I’m pretty giddy about it.

They’ve put in so much work, focus and intensity & have massively stepped for this event.
They have taken EVERY challenge I’ve given them (and I’m a LOT 😉)

What they’re about to do in front of their family and friends isn’t easy.

Parents - thank you for investing in and supporting your kids and for constantly showing up ❤️ thank you for trusting me with them 🥹

Teen Barbell Club - thank you for not just showing up - but for BEING here and giving your best. And for being hilarious and fun 😘

Don’t tell the adults, but you’re my favs 😉

No matter how much you lift today - I’m already SO PROUD of you ALL. Not just for your lifting, but who you’re all becoming as humans.

Whoever told you it’s not safe or not to squat probably expects you to stand 👀 🤷🏻‍♀️

With at least 25 squat variations off the top of my head - surely we can find 1-2 that work for you… so you can 🚽💩

That’s what we do. WE COACH.

We program. We customize.
Basically… We freaking care.

That’s the difference between and a typical gym membership.

Treadmills and free weights don’t care if you know what to do or how, what options you need or if you progress or if your squat sucks… or if you even show up…

We do. It’s literally our entire business. We hands-on coach every dang class. There’s a plan; a process; progress. PURPOSE.

We’ll teach you all of it - because we kinda really love doing so…

2/3 of our members (aka fav people) never trained before coming to RTC…

Some were downright clueless and had no idea how to move or control their bodies with purpose… (no names 👀😉)

We’ve even had a few where I genuinely prayed “Dear Lord, let us help and not break this one”

Spoiler: we try not to break anyone. It’s terrible for business.

We love coaching, programming and training…

We love teaching sparkly newbies how to do the things and watching them learn and grow in confidence to see what they’re capable of…

We love working with lifelong athletes to tweak the details, see what others don’t, and help them get 1% better…

We don’t expect you to show up knowing - anything…it’s LITERALLY our job to coach you… and we LOVE what we do (and we’re pretty fond of our people too ❤️)

So… if you’re decently enjoyable human and want to train or learn how to - come see us.

Dudes. TRUST ME: DO IT!

Take your nearly adult kid to a workshop when they share your passion (or go for one of theirs).

Listen to their business and coaching ideas.

Let them figure out Link tree for you (when they already made it and are the reason you can’t use your own name 😉)

Expose them to the best in the business; make introductions; challenge them; watch them get excited and interact with ideas from a fresh perspective; drink too much coffee and get too little sleep…

Thank you and for a great day; morn training; the coffee dude; and for challenging us in some areas - and 💯 confirming others.

Being an owner and coach is a privilege, honor and stewardship 🎯💯🎯 you speak our language!!

She’s like an in-house DJ Ninja … I give her 3 words to a song, 2 of them wrong - yet she always nails it (I… do not 😂)

Fun Fact: They both head to the Dominican Sat on a mission trip because they’re tremendous RNs. Say some prayers for their crew ❤️

Some of my absolute favorite humans and closest friends have come out of this crew - 👀 😘

Others have floated in and out as they can… and we love on them when they visit

MomWOD is equal parts therapy & training.
Okay. 85% therapy 15% training but we get the work ✅

None of these ladies strength trained before this… yet now they’re some of the strongest women in the gym…

They show up & were willing to be beginners. And just started yapping and lifting…

Maybe there’s a lesson or some encouragement in there for you…

Get yourself a momWOD crew 😘

Ps: we coach brand new lifters… you’re only brand new the first day 😉

And… learn to bench (and squat, deadlift, press and clean)… you’ll love it!

Dead for days!!!

The lift, not the people… they’ll be FINE.

Final lift for 1 rep max testing - so far we’ve watched people put 5-45 pounds on their totals 🤯

No pressure 6pm 👀👀👀

Sometimes we get distracted by hitting heavy weights in trg… it’s important to hit % so the max peaks… but…

training is for… TRAINING.

Then, 1RM day is like a party when you come out dressed all fancy and show off all you’ve done.

Stay focused during training blocks.
Make sure your coach is too.

Expect your coach to tweak, improve and adjust your mvt so that weight flies on party day… it’s literally their job…

If they’re not constantly improving you - they’re just an overpaid cheerleader.

Ps: sometimes we’re cheerleaders AND coaches but friggg… make sure you’re getting what you pay for 🎉

Clearly: when you’re the only 2 who come to play on a snowy school holiday - you lift heavy then go into a heckling and “friendly” competition conditioning block.

We still don’t know what “sweet nothings” he was whispering, but
