I wasn’t sure what to expect when meeting a woman who owns two renowned restaurants in the Bay Area, but Lisa is genuinely one of the most incredible human beings I’ve ever met—kind, gentle, and so authentic. We connected instantly and were amazed to find we were both born in 1974, just a month apart, and both started our successful businesses exactly 21 years ago. It felt like meeting my twin; we’ve both been living in our own little worlds so close to each other, and I’m surprised our paths never crossed until now. Our daughters hit it off immediately, too!
