Alcon Launches Clareon TruPlus Monofocal and Toric IOLs

The new lens is designed to increase depth of focus while maintaining the high-quality distance vision provided by traditional monofocal IOLs.

Compared to the Clareon Monofocal, the TruPlus IOL demonstrates a 3.5 letter improvement in simulated visual acuity at -1.5 D. It also offers less glare, fewer halos and better distance image quality compared to a leading competitor monofocal.
