Tina Xia, MD Board-certified ophthalmologist with subspeciality training in vitreoretinal surgery. She has authored more than a dozen peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Tina Xia is a board-certified ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in vitreoretinal surgery. She specializes in all aspects of medical and surgical retina care, with a focus on age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, retinal detachment, epiretinal membranes, and macular holes. Dr. Xia attended the 7 years BA/MD program Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and was a Humanism Scholar. She then stayed locally to complete her medical internship at Overlook Medical Center, Atlantic Health Systems, and followed by her ophthalmology residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She completed her vitreoretinal fellowship at the prestigious Scheie Eye Institute, University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Xia is fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin. She welcomes new patient consultations in Livingston and Morristown, New Jersey office.
