What a wonderful afternoon speaking with the residents at Four Seasons at Great Notch in Woodland Park about something we are incredibly passionate about — protecting brain health and preventing cognitive decline.
During our talk, Preventing Decline: The Ear-to-Brain Connection, we discussed the growing body of research showing that untreated hearing loss is one of the largest modifiable risk factors for dementia — and how proactive hearing and brain care can help people stay socially connected, mentally engaged, and living life to the fullest.
A heartfelt thank you to Madelynn Peters, along with David & Ellen Michelson and Shelley Miller, for helping organize this event and bringing this important conversation to your community. Your leadership and commitment to education truly make a difference.
It was a pleasure meeting so many engaged, thoughtful residents and answering your questions. Communities like Four Seasons at Great Notch remind us how powerful education can be when people come together with a shared goal of healthy aging and lifelong brain wellness.
