The team recently celebrated the 101st vaginoplasty at . It is a momentous achievement for the team celebrating the synergy of our robotic urologist, Dr Nitin Patel, with plastic surgery, nursing and OR staff and our supportive hospital administration. I have been so fortunate to partner with these amazing people to care for our wonderful patients. Just a few years ago this procedure had never been done… and now we routinely perform 1-2 per week. This has increased access to gender affirming care and improved outcomes for transgender patients. Special thank you to team members for literally making dreams come true!

Huge congratulations to Dr Atlee Loughran and medical student, Elizabeth Hilt, from Cooper University for presenting our research on ge***al gender affirmation surgery at the international WPATH conference in Montreal, Canada! It’s an honor to be invited to share our research and Atlee had 4 podium presentations!

These included:
