Our two-part comprehensive eye examination evaluates the vision and the health of your eyes. After your thorough examination with one of our optometrists, all your questions can be answered about your vision needs by any of our helpful opticians. Our optical area has many options to choose from including glasses, sunglasses, contact lenses, and many optical accessories. Our optometrists are able to monitor your eye health conditions, such as cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. We have state-of-the-art medical equipment including the Optomap, Humphrey Visual Field machine and the Zeiss Stratus OCT. Eyecare Professionals was founded in 1933 and was originally named "Livingston Optical". At the time, the practice was located at 105 N. Main but in 1969 a fire destroyed the building. The practice then moved in 115 W. In 1991, the practice was incorporated and the name changed to "Livingston Eye Clinic and Optical". In 1994, the practice moved for its final time to 305 W. In 1997 the practice officially became "Eyecare Professionals and Mountain Eyewear". In 2010, the remodel and addition was complete. This new office area expanded our reception area and front desk area. It also gave our office 2 new pre-testing rooms, a special testing room, and an additional exam room.

We'll be set up with the ultrasonic cleaner to get your glasses sparkling clean, and send you home with complimentary lens spray and cleaning cloths to keep you seeing your best. Plus, this year Dr. Colleen Culbertson will be joining us! Take this opportunity to stop by and meet her.

Meet Skylar! 🌄🐾🐶⛺👩‍👧

Skylar is a born and raised, fifth-generation Montanan from the Gallatin Valley. She moved to Livingston in April 2025 from Bozeman and joined the Eyecare Professionals Team as an optometric technician in July. In her free time, Skylar enjoys baking tasty treats, summer camping, and spending time with her 2 year-old daughter and her two dogs, Tod and Mo.

Meet Alexis! 🚣‍♀️🐕🐈🤰🗻

While she was born in Utah, Alexis has always called Livingston her home since she moved here when she was only one year old and attended Park High. She grew up in a large family and is excited that she and her partner are now expecting their first child in November. Alexis joined the team at ECP as a receptionist in 2025. When she is not welcoming our patients at the front desk, Alexis can be found floating the river and spending time with her pack of dogs and her cat.

Meet Emma! 🐎🐕🗻🎣👨‍👩‍👧

Emma moved from Minnesota to Montana in Spring 2020 and joined the ECP team as an optometric technician in 2025. Her favorite thing about living here in Livingston is being able to look at the mountains every day. In her down time, Emma enjoys horseback riding, fishing, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs.

Meet Adrian! 🧶🖋🐈🏕📖

Adrian is the Optical Team Leader at Eyecare Professionals and graduated from The University of Alabama in 2024 with her degree in Nonprofit and Community Leadership.
Originally from Alabama, she moved to Montana in 2016 after completing the 2015 Summer season at The Old Faithful Inn. Adrian and her husband, Tyler, feel incredibly lucky to call Livingston their home and enjoy getting outside as much as they can. In her downtime, she can be found snuggled up with her two cats - Scout and Minerva, practicing crochet, calligraphy, printmaking, digital arts, or whatever new creative endeavor has grabbed her attention for that season.

While she is technically from Utah, Chelsea moved back to Montana with her family when she was 8 years old. She worked as a massage therapist prior to joining the optical team at ECP in 2024. When she isn't making your new favorite pair of sunglasses, Chelsea enjoys spending time at home with her husband and their 1 year-old daughter or hiking, fishing, hunting, and rockhounding on Montana’s beautiful public lands.

Meet Amber! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧📖⛳🗻

Originally from Minnesota, Amber moved to Livingston with her daughter in 2012. She worked as an educator with infants and toddlers at a local Montessori prior to joining the ECP staff in 2024. On the weekends, you can catch her reading, writing, golfing, or adventuring on the river with her fiancé and their two amazing daughters. When asked about her favorite part of living in Montana, Amber said “The mountains, Yellowstone River, Old Faithful… I just love the fresh air and wide open skies. I feel at peace in Montana.”

It's UV Safety Month - are you keeping your eyes protected?🕶
We are here to help you find the perfect pair of shades to stay safe while looking, like, really cool!

Here's what the American Academy of Ophthalmology has to say about UV protection when it comes to your eye health:
"Studies show that long-term exposure to bright sunlight may increase the risk of cataracts and growths on the eye, including cancer. UV rays reflected off sand and water can cause eyes to sunburn, potentially resulting in temporary blindness in just a few hours. In support of UV Safety Month this July, the American Academy of Ophthalmology reminds the public of the importance of shielding eyes from the sun's harmful rays with 100% UV-blocking sunglasses and broad-brimmed hats."
