✨When we listening to our body, we are listening to our soul.

Our soul talks to us through the body’s sensations, its emotions, and it’s subtle expressions.

It guides us to the parts of us seeking healing, seeking attention.

Our body is the whole product of all that has ever happened to us in this lifetime, and lifetimes and dimensions beyond our knowledge, as well.

It is wise.
It is truthful.
It is purposeful.
It’s entire intention for us is that we heal, that we be in balance,
and that we live out our particular destiny this lifetime.

That our acorn become a beautiful oak tree.

Find your quiet and listen.
Listen to your body speak to you.
Guide you.
Care for you.
And bring you gently into the present.

Sometimes the body gets stuck in the past — holding on to old experiences, emotions, or trauma that never had the chance to be fully felt. When we allow ourselves to feel what we’ve been through, we release what’s been frozen inside… and reclaim the energy meant for our present life.

Emotions are our way of processing life. When we acknowledge our emotions, we help our bodies heal, release, and cleanse. It doesn’t have to take long—just a moment, a minute, is enough. The key is to be in relationship with your body by acknowledging what you feel.

Even when emotions feel overwhelming, remember: your body is wise. It’s always working with you, offering signals and sensations to guide your healing. When we pause and simply notice what we’re feeling—without trying to fix or change it—we activate deep compassion and nervous system repair.

You don’t have to do it perfectly. You don’t even have to understand what you’re feeling. Your presence alone is medicine. When you show up—imperfect, curious, tender—you’re already healing.

Let this be your reminder: you are not alone in your feelings. There is a space for you to be held, heard, and witnessed just as you are. Come as you are, breathe with us, and allow your body to speak.

The wind is so loud tonight in Livingston, NJ. It feels like change to me… like life moving, shifting, clearing and cleansing…✨

I love hearing the windchimes and the whistles in the air and the trees… 🍃

This photo is from my trip to Machu Picchu, on another rainy and windy day.

I dont talk about my work in specifics too often because the details of a human journey are so personal, so tender, so profound, and so deeply etched in us.

I feel these specifics though. And on a windy night like tonight, the wind makes perfect sense to me.

My heart doesn’t break so much anymore with the stories I am privileged to hold.

Instead, my heart heals.

My heart heals because it’s all the heart knows how to do. And the stories —the telling of these stories, the feeling of these stories — heal.

I have learned over time to manage this precious human journey with presence.

And love.
Kindness and Humility.
And reverence.

So much reverence.

Tonight the wind is loud, and my heart is active.

And my soul feels so much hope for all of us.

Because when we keep loving —
There is so much hope.✨🙏🏻

✨Somatic Therapy is Mindful Therapy✨

Being in presence — aware of our thoughts, aware of our body, aware of each other and the effect we have on one another — activates healing.

My 1:1 therapy sessions are very much about listening. How do we listen to the self? How is the body communicating with us?

The mind has many ways of protecting, disguising, suppressing, and distorting our perception. It runs on old programming. It creates repitition of thought that can drain us of motivation. It can be unreliable and inaccurate.

When we understand this, we can intervene on our own behalf. We can enlist new thoughts, ignore and override unhelpful thoughts, and begin a new partnership of mind and body.

This is what I enjoy most about my 1:1 holistic psychotherapy sessions!

The practice of creating:
🔹an empowered partnership between mind and body
🔹dropping fully into present moment
🔹reveling in the magic of the human design, mind body and soul!

Becoming… Transforming… Being you 🙏🏻🦋

It takes patience, kindness, and so much compassion… for the self, and for the journey. It is in the practice, and the process, that we discover our gifts, our strengths, our vulnerabilities, and our tender parts. Let them all rise to the surface so they can be held and healed.

There is no hurry. Take your time. Let the lows inspire your compassion and let the wins inspire your gratitude.

All in all, this journey is a gift. Let your feet touch the ground and fill your soul with Earth 🙏🏻🌹🤗

I can take photos of River all day. She is such a sweet and pretty subject. And her eyes are gorgeous green in the light.

I am just off a call with my Dad and my heart is warm and happy. He and I are working together on a new project and we get to speak all thru the week now strategizing and collaborating together. It has made for a wonderful 2024 so far…

Hold your people close. Hold your animals close. They are the gold of this life. The roots and the soul of this life.

My heart is full this Sunday afternoon☺️ 🙏🏻❤️
