Once upon a time there was a team called squad🥱
I am not on that team. This Dame needs her Anything more than 3 nights in a row of not enough sleep & I'm useless to myself & others. No bueno. 🙃
I know sleep requirements vary from person to person. But the recommended amount of restorative high quality is seven to eight hours a night. Now I know most early birds & owls will say they function fairly well on less sleep, but most people are 🫩
There's a difference between the amount of sleep you can get by on & the number of hours you need to function at your

Collagen production is accelerated during sleep. If you do not get enough sleep, not enough collagen is produced to replace with what inflammation breaks down. .
As the body settles into the deepest stage of rest, growth hormones peak & stimulate cell & tissue repair. Without enough sleep, the repair process of your skin will be slowed, resulting in aging.🫠

Hydration also rebalances during sleep. When you don't get adequate sleep the loss of hyaluronic acid (the new beauty ingredient everyone is going nuts over) weakens the skin barrier allowing for water loss through the skin. 💦
