To whom it may concern:

We have been notified of a glitch with Cigna Medicare insurance - if you have received a letter with a new primary care doctor, please call Cigna insurance and ask for “member services” to change your primary care doctor back to Dr. Gulbis.

If any additional questions, please feel free to call the office.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; this was an error on Cigna’s part and we appreciate y’all remedying their error.

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our phone system. We had the system upgraded before the Holiday weekend and are now being told that people are unable to get through and that we are calling from a different phone number.

Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause and we are working to solve the problem as quickly as possible! We hope to have a temporary work through soon and will update everyone as soon as we know more.

We regret to inform the public that we have seen a very rare case of spotted flu at our clinic. Symptoms include:

Arthralgias
Pelvic pain
Rash
Iritis
Liver spots

Flatulence
Omphalocele
Ovulatory dysfunction
Leishmaniasis
Speckling of extremities

Please be on the lookout for this extremely rare condition as it is most commonly seen on the first day of April and not seen on any other day of the year. If “spotted” please make sure to tell a friend about this potentially devastating condition to raise community awareness.

Save Time with a Virtual Visit!

Want to skip the waiting room and see your doctor from the comfort of your home? Our Healow Televisit option makes it easy! Follow these simple steps to schedule and join your virtual appointment with Dr. G’s Medical Solutions.

*How to Use the Healow App for Televisits*

Step 1: Schedule Your Appointment

•Call our office and request a Televisit appointment.

Step 2: Download and Set Up the Healow App

1. Download the Healow app on your smartphone from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).

2. Open the app and connect to Medi Swan LLC (doing business as Dr. G’s Medical Solutions).

3. Enter the Practice Code: EDDFCD to link your account.

4. You may receive an email after signing up—DO NOT click on any links in this email.

Step 3: Join Your Tele Visit on the Day of Your Appointment

1. Log in to the Healow app 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

2. Locate your appointment for today and tap the light blue “View” tab.

3. Tap the black “Start Tele Visit” button.

Step 4: Enter Your Vitals

• You will be prompted to enter your vitals, including:

• Blood Pressure

• Height

• Weight

• Other health details

• Complete as much information as possible. If unsure, you may skip any section.
Once done, tap “Submit Vitals” (blue button at the bottom of the page).

Step 5: Start Your Televisit

1. After submitting your vitals, tap “Start Televisit” again.

2. You will enter a virtual waiting room.

3. Wait until Dr. Gulbis joins you for your appointment.

We are utilizing a PATIENT PORTAL to help link you to your medical records and to telemedicine visits. To access your patient portal, please follow these steps:

1. Download the HEALOW app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (android)
2. Enter the HEALOW app and enter practice code EDDFCD
3. Follow the instructions in the email that you receive from “Mediswan, LLC”
4. Enter your portal username and password to login to HEALOW. You will need these to login to HEALOW in the future, so please consider writing them down.
5. Setup a PIN to securely access your health records. Again, you may want to consider writing this down.

Once you have completed this process you should have access to your records and telemedicine visits! We will detail how to login to these visits in a future post.

So we have TWO posts today since we missed last week!

Did you know that Dr. G is BioTE certified and trained? We have seen numerous posts asking about hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and want the community to know that Dr. G has done BioTE hormone pelleting as well as other forms of HRT for the past 5 years!

Additionally, we offer numerous different weight loss programs including programs involving semaglutide and tirzepatide. We have seen numerous posts inquiring about which providers offer these options; please know that we are proud to offer all of these at our clinic and have had the weight loss programs active for over a year!

Please know that our goal as your primary care provider is to give you as many options as possible for your healthcare needs. Many people don’t also know that we have an aesthetician here on Thursdays or by appointment only on other days. We have simply been so focused on patient care that we have forgotten to let people know about the additional services that we offer!
