PCOS Advocacy Day 2025 was a big success! Still so much work to be done but it was exhilarating to be in DC in person with this passionate group of advocates who shared their stories and educated senators and representatives and their staffers about this disease that impacts about 10 million (possibly more) women in the US alone. How is it possible that we still do not have a diagnostic test or a specific treatment for this disease that impacts every system of the body? PCOS is the most common endocrine disorder impacting women, one of the most common causes for infertility and significantly increases maternal risks, and continues to impact women well after menopause: increasing the risk for diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, depression and cancer.

Women in medicine! We need to connect! Collaborate! And support ourselves and healthcare. Cannot wait to see you in September! Link to register is in my bio. I’ll be talking about how to save IVF and healthcare and why all doctors with ovaries should consider freezing their eggs at the Women in Medicine Summit™! Join me and many other incredible healthcare leaders as we work towards closing the gender gap in healthcare.
