We promised to help you - so here are Dr. Lisa’s thoughts on talking about lyrics in the song “Wood” with your tweens and teens.

You know your kid best- so follow their lead and just do the best you can. It’s OK if you stumble. It’s OK if it’s not perfect. It should be an open conversation and doesn’t have to be long and drawn out.

But YOU need to be their source of information and guidance. YOU CAN DO THIS! If you are nervous, just shake it off! (Yes…you get it…maybe I’m turning into a Swiftie!)

Every period is different, and every period bag looks a little different too! Whether you’re a Pad Girl or a Tampon Girl, the essentials go way beyond just products. Staying prepared = feeling empowered. 💪
