REVISED: District 11 Crews Set to Perform Bridge Inspection on U.S. 25 Bridge Over Rockcastle River Wednesday, May 7 in Laurel County
MANCHESTER, Ky. (May 5, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists that District 11 Crews are set to perform a bridge inspection on the U.S. 25 bridge over Rockcastle River (mile point 23.9) in Laurel County.

The work schedule is listed below:

On Wednesday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., traffic will be reduced to one lane with flagger control.
Engineers will be using a Snooper Truck to access the deck substructure on the bridge.

Motorists are advised to use caution during this period and be aware of signage, road crews and other drivers. The work is dependent on weather conditions.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can access travel and traffic conditions at http://goky.ky.gov or contribute their own reports at www.waze.com or via the Waze mobile application. Beginning today, we will be charging $2.00 service charge to use a credit or debit card due to rising charges.
Also, we ask that you make appointments. We are no longer accepting walk-in visits. Our office hours will be changing after the first of the year and decreasing. We are small and have limited services. Messages on the answering machine will be answered when we are in the office. We will only respond during office hours. We will no longer be answering messages via Facebook or text due to HIPPA laws. Thank you for your understanding.

Due to HIPPA laws and our home time, neither Lauren nor Dawn will be answering any messages, including text and calls on our personal phones, outside business hours, that includes Fridays since we are closed. You can call the office and leave a message, or you can send a message in Messenger. We will check these daily. We will reply as soon as possible. Since we are small, we do not have anyone designated to answer the phone and messages when we are seeing patients, so leave a message, and we will answer it as soon as possible.
