The clinics will be unable to assist with medical records as of 4/19/2025 as the clinics will be transitioning to Texas MedClinic software and will lose access to patient records from Urgent Doc.

Medical record requests can still be sent to medicalrecords@urgentdoc.com and billing requests and concerns can be sent to billing@urgentdoc.com and our remaining business office team members will be able to assist you.

We appreciate your support for the past 18 years.

To obtain your medical records we need to make an addendum to our press release. Our medical records clerk cannot release records without a release form on file. Please download and complete the release from the link below and send a completed copy of the release and your photo ID to medicalrecords@urgentdoc.com

Attention Urgent Doc patients and community members.

After 18 wonderful years in East Texas, we are sad to announce that the Urgent Doc brand will be retiring with Dr Iversen on April 18, 2025. Our staff will still remain at the clinics which will be rebranded and reopened by our new owners, Texas MedClinic the following week in the same existing clinic locations.

We thank you for your patronage, acceptance and support of Urgent Doc these past 18 years and it has been a pleasure providing quality, affordable Urgent Care to our communities. We wish Dr. Iversen a happy retirement.

Please read the letter below for more information and stay tuned for more information in regard to the reopening dates. Business hours will remain the same upon reopening. Businesses who use the clinics for occupational medicine and worker’s compensation should be contacted by TMC in the coming weeks to confirm continued care plans as the clinics and staff will still be providing those services.

We will be in the clinic until 6pm today. We hope to reopen with normal business hours tomorrow.

We are going to attempt to open the clinic at 11am today as long as our staff are able to safely make the drive. Stay tuned for updates as we will make a post saying we are opened or closed as 11 comes. If we open, we will be closing early at 6pm as a precaution since the snow and ice will be melting today but the temps will be dropping below freezing by 7pm. We hope to be back to normal business hours tomorrow 11/23 if all goes well with road conditions.

We are going to attempt to open the clinic at 11am tomorrow depending on the road conditions as we have staff traveling from outside of Livingston. Please check back in the morning for our final decision on if we will open or not. Also, please note that if we do open, we may be closing early if it is likely the roads will freeze after dark. We thank you for your understanding and patience. We hope you are all staying warm and safe!

We will open today in Nacogdoches and Lufkin at 11am however check back for updates as we could close early if TxDot predicts roads getting slick this evening.

New Caney and Livingston clinics will remain closed today due to road conditions in the areas surrounding them. We will plan to re-open tomorrow if the roads clear up but check back for updates

Please follow our social media for updates as all of these times are tentatively set and subject to change.

We are currently closing early today at 6pm and planning to open at 11am tomorrow if roads are safe for travel. There is a very good possibility we will end up closing tomorrow and we will post to our social media as soon as those decisions have been made.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. If you have an emergency please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room if you are able to safely.

Due to not having a provider, Urgent Doc will not be able to see sick patients, however we will be open for Primary Doc and our team at Primary Doc will be happy to see our patients for the needs. Primary Doc is located inside of the Urgent Doc clinic.

Urgent Doc does have some staff on hand for ancillary services like drug screens, immunizations, etc. and will be able to offer those still.
