Today is National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day. Every year on August 21, families, communities, and leaders across the country come together to remember loved ones lost to fentanyl, share facts, raise awareness, and take action to protect others.

⚠️ The danger is real:
- Fentanyl is now the #1 cause of death for Americans under 50, surpassing heart disease and cancer.
- It’s found in nearly every street drug.
- Fake pills (Xanax, Adderall, Oxycodone) and drugs like co***ne, m**h, and he**in are often laced with fentanyl—without the user knowing.
- It’s cheap, powerful, and deadly.

👉 If it didn’t come from a licensed pharmacy, you can’t trust it.

What you can do:
- Learn the signs of drug use and overdose
- Talk openly with your kids and loved ones
- Support lifesaving efforts in your community
