The Journal of Diabetes Obesity and Metabolism recently published our study showing results from patients who use d-Nav and check their glucose with a continuous glucose monitor (CGM). The study used the Time In Range (TIR) metric, which the measures the amount of time a person's glucose level remains within the recommended range. TIR was 70% for patients using d-Nav. These results demonstrated favorable glucose levels that are very comparable with results from automated insulin delivery (AID) systems, also known as artificial pancreas systems. Great work Kevin J. Williams MD, Eran Bashan PhD, Caitlin Kruse, Sajitha Sritharan, Israel Hodish MD!

It’s not always about what you eat or how much you exercise. A massive new study just released by Weill Cornell Medicine and the National Institutes of Health explores the influence that genetics has with type 2 diabetes. The team focused on 20 genes associated with type 2, out of the 290 areas in the genome that can contribute to diabetes.

In experiments of unprecedented scale, researchers at Weill Cornell Medicine and the NIH have advanced efforts to better understand and ultimately treat this common metabolic disease.
