This week we drummed with the special needs pre-school students at Stottlemyer Early Childhood Center. We had just as much fun as the kids. We love to bring smiles and spread joy!

Our Why? One of the students that struggles with engaging in group activities or engaging with other people...came up to us and was following the movements and trading drumsticks with us. ❤️

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It’s time now to move onto our next event. The Livonia Beat is seeking one more nominee for our annual Drum caroling. We have room for one more on our schedule. If you know someone that would enjoy the group to drum on their lawn or driveway please respond here or contact Sue or Wendy. We drum to holiday songs and typically spend about 15 minuets at each home. It is such a fun and uplifting experience for the nominee and The Livonia Beat members. The recipient must be in Livonia or very close to Livonia. The date is December 7th and the time frame would be between 1 and 3:30.

The Livonia Beat 🥁 was on Channel 4 last night!!! 🚲

Tour de Livonia brought $40,000 towards benefiting local food pantries, cognitive support programs, and STEM education for kids. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Cardio Family Drumming in the Park! 🎶✨ Your energy, smiles, and rhythms made the event unforgettable. From little ones to adults, it was amazing to see families and friends moving, laughing, and connecting through the beat of the drums.

Special thank you to The Livonia Beat Public PAGE for providing the moves, and to the Westland Rotary Club for their partnership on our Family Summer Wellness Series. Events like this remind us that wellness can be fun, uplifting, and best enjoyed together.
