The Family Day Carnival was a huge success with around 200 people in attendance! Residents, families, and friends came together for fun, laughter, and great memories. We had delicious food, classic carnival games, cotton candy, popcorn, face painting, and fantastic entertainment provided by Harmony Town Chorus.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special. Also, a great big shout out to our Oakmont employees who all made this day possible. They did an outstanding job!

We ended the month of June with an Ice Cream Social! There was an ice cream bar where the residents had their choice of all different toppings. Entertainment was provided by Rick Davis. A wonderful time was had by all. Thank you to the volunteers who helped with this and a BIG thank you to Jodi, the Activity Director for all the time and effort it took to organize this social.

Exercise is a big part of Oakmont. Exercise is offered to the residents 5-6 days a week. All different exercise is offered such as stretching, strengthening, chair yoga, balance, etc.

One of the favorite exercises around here is Cardio Drumming. What is better than getting to beat some exercise balls with drum sticks while listening to some awesome music!

On Friday June 20th, we honored all the men of Oakmont with a Dads & Dogs BBQ for Father's Day. The men enjoyed a delicious BBQ style lunch, received a fishing pole made of beef jerky, juice, a candy bar, and mints. There was also a popcorn guessing game. Richard won the popcorn game. He did share his popcorn with his friends!
