It has been so meaningful connecting with the community through education, outreach, and service these last few weeks!

At the 52nd Livonia Community Prayer Breakfast, Sarah Brown-Derbah, Dave Cash, Lydia McIntyre, and Tiffany Troher joined local leaders and community members for a morning of reflection, fellowship, and inspiration.

Sarah also took part in career days at Cornerstone Schools - Detroit Madison-Carver Academy and Ann Arbor Trail Magnet School, speaking with students about the funeral service profession. Through presentations, she shared what funeral directors do from the first call to final services and answered questions about the profession.

In addition, Sarah and James Warunek spoke at First United Methodist Church Ann Arbor about immediate cremation services and funerals followed by cremation. The discussion ended with a Q&A session and was especially meaningful given the church’s memorial garden for the scattering of cremated remains.

We are grateful for every opportunity to serve, educate, and support our community!

Loving mother of Kathy Mazurek (Tim), Ron Mazurek Jr. (Julie), Laurie Cirino (Nick), Deb Kolnitys (Tim), Gary Mazurek (Ann), Ken Mazurek (Kosy), and Mary Kay Abraham (Rick).
