This is the 6th of my 7 week series on our chakra system. Chakra is Sanskrit for wheel. These are energy centers of the body. Think of them as spinning energy centers. Our chakras need to be open and balanced together for us to function at our best physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. This week we are looking at the third eye chakra. It located at the middle of your forehead.

When I first decided to make my Reiki practice a business, I spent a lot of time thinking about what I wanted in a name. I chose Sanskrit words because the word chakra is Sanskrit for wheel. Two things I have needed most in my life are peace and balance. Reiki can provide both. So I chose Shanti Tula Reiki. Shanti is Sanskrit for peace and Tula for balance.

In week 5 of my 7 week chakra series, I will be sharing 3 crystals for the throat chakra. My crystal collection just keeps growing, so pretty and powerful. These crystals help bring compassion, optimism, and self love. They work well as necklaces so they lay close to the heart or in pockets.

It is week 5 of the 7 week chakra series. These are 3 affirmations for the throat chakra. I like to put them on in index card and keep them in my pocket. You can also put them on a post it on your desk. I have even created wallpaper for my phone with affirmations on it. Lots of great ways to see them. I repeat them during the week. How do you use affirmations?

Here is another testimonial from a client I saw. It was his first experience with Reiki. A friend of his encouraged him to try it because of things happening in his life at that time. When he scheduled the session he was honest with me, sharing he didn't believe Reiki was real. I assured him he didn't need to believe it to benefit from it. This is what he shared after the session. While emotional release doesn't happen often, it is not uncommon. I encourage each of you to allow tears to fall when you have them. Don't hold it in. It can have a disturbing effect on the body. Reiki certainly helps.
