Today is the 7th day since the end of the my SP Purification program and I am 17 lbs down. As I mentioned previously I wanted to talk about the mental part of cleansing/detoxing/purifying/insert your own word 🙂
This has been my experience so far and I feel is quite relatable.
Day 1: Full of energy and lots of ambition. This is the day that you are so excited because all you can think about are the results.
Day 2: That energy can dry up fast. Not being able to have certain foods is a mental struggle. You were fine going days without them before but all the sudden it is all you want to eat.
Days 3-8: These are by far the hardest days for me. I feel tons of brain fog. I'm irritable. Things just make me mad that are normally a whatever ie.. people driving, things on the news, or my cat just wants to walk right where I'm walking, lol.
Day 9: The brain fog has lifted and things don't seem so bad.
Day 11: This is the best day for me. This is the day I get to eat meat again. After day 10 it barely feels like I'm doing anything different than normal.
Days 17-21: I feel like my thinking is very fast and sharp. I'm not as sleepy. I can see good changes in my body and that is a good feeling.
Days 18-Present: I have to say I feel great. All of those cliche type things you hear "more energy, better thinking, and just plain feeling good " are true. I've added a couple things back into the diet like almond flour, Wine and cheese and I'm still losing weight . I would suggest this to anybody looking to better there health.
BTW: This is chicken marsala and it was amazing! My wife used almond flour to coat the chicken and cassava flour in making the marsala sauce.
