🦃🍁 Thanksgiving can be busy, loud, and full of excitement — and that means communication support matters more than ever.

We created this Thanksgiving AAC board to help families make communication easier and more accessible during the holiday. Here are a few simple ways to support your child or family member:
✨ Offer choices: “Turkey or potato?”
✨ Model words on their device or board while you talk
✨ Give extra processing time — no rush
✨ Honor all communication: gestures, AAC, speech, sounds, signs
✨ Celebrate every attempt!

Small supports can make holiday moments more comfortable, more inclusive, and more joyful. 🧡
