Seeking a dopamine boost now that TikTok is unavailable? Consider the following alternatives:

* Consume high-protein foods like eggs, meat, or dairy
* Try baking- the aroma of freshly baked goods can elicit a dopamine response
* Participate in physical activity- exercise, dance, mall-walking (even s*x 😉) can stimulate dopamine release
* Spend quality time with loved ones. Smiling, laughing, and bonding can increase dopamine and oxytocin levels
* Play a game! (Bonus dopamine release when you win!)
* Listen to your favorite music
* Prioritize adequate sleep
* Take in some fresh air

If these suggestions aren't cutting it, TAC Therapy will consider establishing a support group for those of us struggling with the loss of our beloved TikTok 😜. In the meantime, utilize this opportunity to reconnect with neglected activities and hobbies! Hang in there friends.

Excited to announce a new therapist at TAC Therapy, PC- Christina Carbone, ALMFT, TLLP will be taking new couples starting May 13th who are interested in navigating concerns with communication, trauma, anxiety, desire discrepancy, lack of intimacy, life transitions, etc. (s*x positive, kink-friendly, LGBTQ+ positive). She will also see individuals for somatic based work, nervous system regulation, and improving relationship to the self and within relationships.
