What’s an Echocardiogram and what should you expect?
An echocardiogram is a safe, non-invasive test that uses sound waves (like an ultrasound) to create images of your heart.
It helps us see:
💓 How your heart beats
🩸 How blood flows through it
🔍 If there are any issues with your valves or muscle
✅ What to expect:
- You’ll lie on a table
- A technician will place an ultrasound probe on your chest with some gel
- It’s painless, usually takes 30–60 minutes, and can be done right in our office!
