Dr. Ali Bazzi explains the importance of an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) in evaluating fertility. This quick imaging test helps assess whether the fallopian tubes are open and allows physicians to evaluate the uterine cavity for abnormalities such as polyps, fibroids, or scar tissue that may affect implantation.

An HSG provides critical information that helps guide the next steps in your fertility journey and in some cases, the dye used during the test may even help flush minor blockages in the tubes.
