We want to send a massive thank you to Dr. Jack Franklin for volunteering his time during Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Dr. Franklin was instrumental in helping manage the overwhelming patient response to our free mammogram initiative.

Exceeding Our Goal and Making a Difference!

We are absolutely thrilled to share the final numbers: our initial goal was to provide free mammograms for 40 patients. Thanks to the support of our staff and volunteers like Dr. Franklin, Llano Memorial Hospital was able to care for 88 patients!

Over half of these patients were receiving their very first mammogram screening.

Crucially, many of these screenings resulted in early findings that require immediate follow-up care. Early detection saves lives, and this is a profound win for our community's health!

An Event Made Possible By You! This life-saving event is a perfect example of how Llano Memorial Hospital supports our community, and it wouldn't have been possible without the generosity of our donors.

A sincere thank you to all of the Llano Hospital Foundation donors who helped us purchase the state-of-the-art mammogram machine (not the one in the picture) for Llano Regional Hospital two years ago. Your investment continues to provide crucial, accessible care and is changing lives right here in Llano.

We are seeing this in Llano County. When they say opioid-like, it includes withdrawal when you stop it, just like stopping any narcotic. If you have been taking this for a while, see your doctor before you abruptly stop. The withdrawal can be severe. For everyone else, over-the-counter does not equal safe. This is something to avoid.

The Texas Department of State Health Services warns physicians and patients of the harms of 7-OH, a chemical derivative of kratom, which at high concentrations can cause rapid heart rate, seizures, and respiratory depression. TMA previously testified on kratom’s risks to the public.

$39 for an email? Honestly? At Hill Country Direct Care There is no cost for emails or texts or office visits for that matter. One low monthly price and that's it. We won't nickel and dime you.
