We need to show up. We need to provide adequate health care to mental health patients and the poor. We need to stop hatred and violence. We need to reform the government and health care. If you are struggling with an abusive parent, or you feel you may be an abusive parent, please watch this. It is time for people to get real with themselves. Especially parents! You are your child’s role model. If you are unhappy with you children’s behaviors, take a step back and look at yourself. Be sure that it is not your behavior they are emulating.

I truly believe no child is born into this world evil. They are shaped by their caregivers. Let’s face it, we all have experienced trauma in our lives. But when children at any age but especially between the ages of 0-6 experience significant trauma or abuse, that remains with them for life. And yes, a lack of love, physical and emotional love during those years is ABUSIVE!!!!!

So, love you children. Smother them in kisses and hugs. Build them up every single day so they stand a chance in this crazy world.
