Cocoa and get well cards 🤎
We enjoyed visiting together over hot, delicious cocoa while making heartfelt get well cards for a dear friend. Such a sweet time of laughter, creativity, and caring.

Welcome Alina and Destiny from the High School Medical Assistant Program!

We had such a great time with the residents playing Pictionary — there was lots of laughter, teamwork, and a little friendly competition. 😊

✨ Meet Regina ✨

Regina is a devoted wife and proud mother of two boys. She has been married for 26 beautiful years and has been part of our Bois D’Arc family for the past four months.

For two years, Regina has volunteered as a cook for Feeding Caldwell County at the Lockhart Church of Christ, serving others with the same caring heart she brings to us every day.

She enjoys reading and spending time outdoors, but what she loves most is our residents — hearing their stories and truly getting to know each of them.

We are so glad to have Regina as part of our Bois D’Arc family. 💛

AJ and Victoria are joining us from the high school assistant medical program for the next two weeks to learn the ins and outs of assisted living. We’re excited to have them with us and to share what compassionate care looks like day to day. Welcome aboard, AJ and Victoria!

Holly from Aspen Hospice stopped by for some Valentine cookie fun. As always, she brought some sweet treats and even sweeter stories shared. It was a wonderful time filled with laughter, and everyone enjoyed their cookies! 💕🍪

We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day! ❤️
Lunch was a delicious fried seafood platter, and dinner featured chicken cordon bleu. We enjoyed Loteria with our retired nurses and topped the day off with strawberry shortcake.

Our administrator, Carol, even made a beautiful cherry cake. Every detail was done with one goal in mind — making everyone feel loved and cherished.

Esperanza — or “Essie,” as we lovingly call her — will celebrate 15 years with the Bois D’Arc family this April, and today we’re also celebrating her birthday! 🎉

She is a proud wife, mother of five, and grandmother of three, and she brings that same nurturing spirit to our residents every day.

As our head caregiver, Essie keeps everything running smoothly with a firm but loving heart. The compassion and care she shows go far beyond what anyone could imagine.

We are so grateful for Essie, her dedication, and the love she pours into our family. Happy Birthday, Essie! 💛
