What is your pre-run / training snack?
We love to drink a salty glass of water and snack on a few dates to stock up our glycogen and mineral stores.
Training at any capacity uses energy in all aspects. For power our body burns carbohydrates and sugar. For temperature and waste regulation, our body excretes sweat.
If you don’t calibrate regularly - and replenished these stores, you are risking burnout, and injury.
