You’re an individual, not just your age. Your health isn’t defined by your birthday. Your ability to carry a healthy pregnancy and baby isn’t in jeopardy just because you’re over 35.
And for some of us, we are in better shape now than we were in our 20s. Yes, statistically women over 35 are more likely to develop complications, but it’s far from a guarantee! Remember what’s most likely happen: a healthy pregnancy and baby. And should anything change, just like in any monitored pregnancy, the doctors are there should you *actually* become high risk.
And there are perks. You get genetic testing covered by insurance. You’ll have extra ultrasounds (if you want them). And you’ll get to have faith in a body that’s gotten you this far
