Matt may be on the quieter side, but when he opens up, he brings some of the best conversations to the room — thoughtful, deep, and meaningful. He’s the kind of person who listens closely, speaks with intention, and reminds us that quiet strength is still strength.

Matt has been a consistent and valued member of Save the Michaels. His resilience shows in the way he shows up, stays committed, and continues moving forward every single day. And if there’s one thing we all know for sure… Matt never turns down a cup of coffee — morning, afternoon, or night. ☕🙂

Meet Tina 💙

After the heartbreaking loss of her son, who was a frequent and cherished participant at Save the Michaels Recovery Center, Tina chose to channel her grief into compassion, service, and love for others. She has become a true force within our community, both behind the scenes and front and center when it comes to planning meaningful events that bring joy, connection, and dignity to those we serve.

Tina invests her time, energy, and her own resources outside of her full-time job to support our unsheltered community. Because of her, we’ve been able to host uplifting events like Bingo, Pumpkin Carving, Grillin’ for Good, and so many other positive moments that brighten the days of the people who need it most.

Today, we want to say thank you, Tina.
Thank you for your heart. Thank you for the love you show our participants. Thank you for being a steady light in moments when others need it the most.

Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for all you are and all you do. 💛✨

Save the Michaels of the World will be CLOSED both tomorrow, November 27th and Friday November 28th to allow our staff much needed time off with their loved ones.

If there is an emergency, please call crisis services at #988 or #911. Save the Michaels will resume regular business hours, Monday December 1st.

🌟 Care & Comfort Drive 🌟
We’re excited to partner with the amazing Oxford House volunteers to support individuals in our community who need a little extra warmth and comfort this season.

⏰ 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM

We’re collecting winter clothing (men’s items especially), ground coffee, sugar/creamer, individually packaged snacks, and basic serving items like paper plates and cups. Every donation—big or small—makes a meaningful difference. 💙
