J.T. O'Neil opened the FIRST funeral home in Will County, known as Joliet's First Home For Funerals, later renamed as O'Neil Funeral Home. This was in the era of family's having the visitations in their homes. Once the other directors in Will County and surrounding counties saw the success of Joe's idea, funeral home's became the standard in Will County. We are located now in Lockport and are still family owned by the O'Neil Family. We have grown to be a leader in the funeral industry and continue to serve families with pride, dignity and ethics.
