Busy day spent in the kitchen!

🥖 Made Homemade Stromboli for lunch

🍪 Baked Cookies

🌱 Dehydrated Basil to put up for winter

🍞 Made breadcrumbs from heels of bread and unused buns

🍅 Cooked down some tomato sauce

🌶 Canned Salsa

And due to popular demand we made another batch of Blackberry Jalapeño Jelly!

On tomorrow's to do list is process peaches 🍑 and make more cowboy candy! 🤠

Now to enjoy homemade Taco Mac for dinner and unwind 🥱

A 1.5lb heirloom variety tomato that came from a volunteer plant in my germination station 🍅

This parsley plant is the host of some beautiful black swallowtail caterpillars 🦋

Along with a 🐛 snack for the chickens that I found on my Oxheart tomato plant!

Praying for rain 🌧 so our sweet corn makes. 🙏

Isn't it ironic that two months ago we were praying for the rain to slow down and return again in July/August?! 😅

If we're blessed with rain in the next week or two our other patch of sweet corn should be ready in early August!! 🌽
