According to this study, many people continue to struggle with sleep, even when they eat well and exercise regularly. The reason some people can't sleep despite healthy habits often comes down to a dysregulated stress response. In this study, when participants with low vitamin C status ate two kiwifruit daily for eight weeks (delivering about 250 mg of vitamin C), their skin ascorbate levels increased significantly, skin density improved by nearly 50%, and epidermal cell proliferation increased by 30%.

When it comes to surgeries (according to surgical specialists) - there is the rule of 3's. 1/3 of patients are worse post surgery, 1/3 of patients are no better post surgery, and 1/3 of patients respond favorably.
