I will always tell my clients that I love my job and that I do what I do for the horses not for money. If you've seen a difference in your horse because of me then I know in a small way your horse will be able to move freely and more comfortable. ❤️ Stay warm and safe with the weather coming in my friends.

🤣 well...Id say I am in all of my clients inner circles before I'm done with a session 🤦🏼‍♀️😂🐴🤎

To all of my clients, I want to reach out to you and say that I see you, I see the dedication and heart. Horses today cost so much money but more so time and energy. I appreciate the extra time all of my clients take to stand with me while I work on your horses. Time is limited and there are only so many hours in a day but if we can fulfill our horses lives with love and care we know we give them their best opportunity to thrive. I see you especially in winter but all seasons. Walking through the snow and/or mud in this crazy Ohio weather. I see you and I love you all. This is a nicely written article and think of you all while reading. Feel free to call or text me to schedule a new year session for your horses. My online scheduling is down currently but I am working on getting it back up.

I know the cost of loving horses.

I know it in early mornings
when rest would be easier.
In long days that don’t pause
just because I’m tired.
In plans that change
and priorities that shift
without apology.

I know the cost financially,
but that’s never been the hardest part.

The real cost is time.
Energy.
Emotional space.

It’s the mental load of always caring.
Always noticing.
Always being responsible
for a life that depends on you
whether you feel ready or not.

It’s the worry that never fully turns off.
The decisions that weigh heavy.
The knowing that loving deeply
also means risking loss.

I know the heartbreak too.

I know what it’s like
to say goodbye too soon
or hold on through seasons
that are harder than you imagined.
I know that grief is part of the agreement
you sign the moment you choose this life.

And still—
I choose horses.

I choose them because of what they give back.

Because they ground me
when the world feels loud.
Because they teach me patience
without preaching it.
Because they ask me to slow down
and show up honestly.

I choose horses
because they don’t care who I am
outside the barn.
They care how I arrive.
How I breathe.
How I listen.

They’ve taught me responsibility
without resentment.
Strength without hardness.
Confidence without ego.

They’ve shaped the way I move through the world—
steadier,
more aware,
less reactive.

I choose horses
because they’ve been there
in seasons no one else saw.
Because the barn has held me together
more times than I can count.

I choose them
because this life feels real.
Because the work matters.
Because the connection is earned,
not given.

And yes—
the cost is high.

But so is the return.

The peace.
The purpose.
The quiet understanding
that I am exactly where I belong
when I’m with them.

So I keep choosing horses—
not because it’s easy,
not because it’s convenient,
but because it has shaped me
into someone I’m proud to be.

Some things cost more than money.
They cost heart.

And some things are worth it
every single time.

Horses
have always been one of them.

Do you still choose horses, despite the cost?

Happiest of new years to my clients. I hope in 2026 I can work on your horses more.

⚠️****EHV/EHM***⚠️

To my clients:

In an attempt to help promote safety regarding the recent EHV/EHM outbreak in Texas, I am going to be limiting my schedule to one barn per day. I already have safety measures but Post massage, I will be sanitizing all of my equipment that I bring in, my clothing, my truck and myself. I do have my horses at home and do not want to contaminate them OR other horses at any barn. Last year, our area was hit with EHV/EHM and I took the same precautions.

Please, please, please check your horses temperature daily, sanitize your equipment and watch for neurological signs. Any questions regarding the EHV/EHM virus please call your vet!!!! Communication is key. If you have hauled anywhere or your horse has a temperature please let me know. Keep me updated on your whole barn as well to help prevent any spread. I have no issues with rescheduling as well during this time.

This is the website to check for all confirmed and tracked cases. I always like to help keep people informed and this website is a very useful tool not just for EHV/EHM but West Nile, strangles and other potentially spreadable diseases. Please stay safe and educated!
