BGCLBC celebrated MLK day by hosting a free community event and day of service.  in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his belief that a meaningful life must include service to others, over 60 volunteers helped assemble 250 bags of essentials, including hats, gloves, socks, and toiletries, to be donated to a local homeless shelter. Thanks to the volunteers and all who joined us for our free community resources event prior. Special thanks to Rep Josh Gottheimer for lending your support.

A Special Program - Our program at South Bergen Jointure Commission's Maywood Campus School provides after-school enrichment programming for students with special needs, in a space that's familiar and safe, along with teachers and peers that they already know from their school day. Since 2022, this program has helped close the gap for students with special needs, who otherwise may be left with little or no after-school enrichment opportunities. Jenna Brady is a young professional passionate about advertising and effective communication. She hopes to leverage her Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Advertising, and Public Relations to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Together, Joseph and Jenna bring a wealth of expertise, energy, and a shared dedication to empowering youth, and we are thrilled to have them on our team!
