Earlier in January we were able to celebrate our wonderful people, new and old, at a pinning/swearing in/holiday party. After the past year we wanted to show our gratitude to the people who continue to show up day after day, call after call to serve our community.

All of our new members were sworn in to Lodi Area EMS, with many of them also coming off of probation. Along with that we also had some wonderful promotions! We are continuing to strive to create a well structured and cohesive team here at Lodi.

Following are our pinnings, swearing ins, and promotions.

Captain -
Tracy Johnson (5 year member)
Leslie Dallman (13 year member)

Lieutenant - (Unfortunately not pictured due to being on a call)
Keri McKee (1 1/2 year member)
Landin Wiedenbeck (2 year member)

Field Training Officer -

Life Saving Award - After a person suffers a cardiac arrest and is successfully revived by EMS personnel and has come home after the event, the crew who arrived that day receives an award for an outstanding job!

Cayden Coddington x2 (3 year member)

Sworn in -

Also not to forget but our amazing interim chief, Amie Brown, who has done a wonderful job keeping us together and pushing us forward for the best we can be.

We're here for all of you, always.

Hello everyone,

With the extremely cold weather we are experiencing, we wanted to share a few important reminders to help keep everyone safe:

โ„๏ธ Frostbite: In temperatures like these, frostbite can begin in as little as 10 minutes. If you need to go outdoors, please cover as much exposed skin as possible and limit time outside.

๐Ÿš— Travel Preparedness: If you are traveling, we recommend keeping emergency supplies in your vehicle, including warm blankets, boots, water, and a jacket, in case of unexpected delays. Keeping your gas tank full is also strongly advised.

๐Ÿ  Loved Ones: Please take a moment to check on friends, neighbors, and family members to ensure they are staying warm. Furnaces and heating systems are more likely to fail during extreme cold.

๐Ÿฅ— Food and Water: Even though we may not be sweating, staying hydrated and eating regular, nutritious meals remains very important. If you or someone you know needs assistance, please reach out to the wonderful resources available in our community.

We are here to support you. Stay warm and stay safe.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends during this time, also all of her crew mates.

Rest easy Daria, we got it from here.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Daria Deibele, a valued member of our EMS team.

Daria previously served as a full-time Paramedic with Waunakee Area EMS and continued to work part-time with us earlier this year after joining Whitewater Fire and EMS.

Daria joined our department in 2022 as a volunteer EMT-Basic, working closely with our Paramedics. She remained an active and dedicated member while completing Paramedic school and transitioned into a full-time role in early 2024.

From the moment she joined our department, Daria was a bright and joyful presence in our EMS family. Her bubbly personality and unmistakably loud, infectious laugh could be heard throughout the halls. She was exceptionally skilled in patient care and was a remarkable employee, coworker, friend, and sister.

Our hearts are with Daria's family and friends, as well as her Fire and EMS families here and in the communities she served. Her loss is deeply felt, and she will be remembered for her service and commitment to others.

Out of respect for the family's privacy, no additional details will be shared at this time. We will provide service information once it becomes available from Daria's family.
