We are so excited to offer this beautiful, breath-centered experience at Kula Yoga and Wellness with Tricia Melfe 🧘‍♀️🌿
This workshop is devoted to the power of the Breath. Together we will explore Pranayama practices and the 5 Principles of a Classical Hatha Yoga Practice, creating balance in both body and mind.
✨ What to Expect:
🌬️ 20-Minute Hatha Yoga Flow
We’ll begin with a grounding, gentle Hatha flow using Ujjayi Pranayama.
• Start in natural grounding & seated posture
• Move through a short, intentional flow
• End with a brief Savasana
This Yang (active) portion warms the body and prepares us for the cooling, Yin energy of Nadi Shodhana Pranayama (alternate nostril breathing).
🌿 Silent Breath Observation
After movement, we’ll sit quietly and simply observe the breath.
🌙 Nadi Shodhana Pranayama
This powerful breath practice:
• Brings deep calm & tranquility
• Enhances mental clarity
• Cleanses the Nadis (energy channels)
• Supports deeper meditation
• Balances the parasympathetic & sympathetic nervous systems
• Nourishes and supports the Vagus Nerve
Balancing these systems is essential for reducing stress and supporting overall wellness.
🧘‍♀️ Meditation Practice
We’ll close by basking in the “fruit of our labor,” resting in stillness and inner awareness.
This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to deepen their breathwork practice, calm the nervous system, and cultivate profound inner peace.
